Start
with a
deep bowl and add 4 cups of Suzy Jo’s Funnel Cake Mix.

Now
just add 3
cups of cold water to the 4 cups of Suzy Jo’s Funnel Cake Mix.

Stir
with a
spoon or mix with a mixer, until smooth, scraping sides of the
bowl
as
you mix.

Batter
should
be thick. Pour batter into your funnel cake pitcher. Now you
are
ready
for the
best tasting funnel cakes ever!

Use
a cast iron
skillet (or deep fryer) at least 2” deep. Put in your funnel
cake
frying ring
and add oil (Peanut oil or any high heat oils are recommended
for best
results, excluding: vegetable oil).

Heat
oil until
it reaches 400 degrees for best results.
|
 |
Hold
your
funnel cake pitcher 2 inches from the hot oil and begin to pour.

 |
Move
the
pitcher in a continuous circular motion going back and forth creating
a
lattice
design until ring is semi full.

 |
Filling
in holes with batter or to your desired
look. |

Your
Suzy Jo’s Funnel Cake will start browning
around the edges in just seconds! |

Now
carefully remove the frying ring. |
 |
Your
funnel
cake is ready to turn over when the edges are golden brown.

After
turning
over, fry about 20 seconds more or until your Suzy Jo’s
Funnel Cake
is
a light golden brown.

Remove
the
funnel cake holding it up right over the oil to allow the excess
oil
to
drip
off.
|
 |
Place
your
Delicious Suzy Jo’s Funnel Cake on a plate; top it with
powdered sugar
and
/or
your favorite toppings*.
Serve warm and enjoy!
