Hello and thanks again for visiting. My name is Suzy and I am the founder of Suzy Jo’s Funnel Cake Mix. Our name was formed from my name and my husband’s name. Loving to bake all my life, I started a small bakery shop in Pigeon Forge Tennessee some years ago. One of my favorite deserts I sold was funnel cakes. The funnel cakes were very popular with locals and with all the tourist. One busy Saturday, soon after my grand opening, I ran out of my generic bought mix. I searched and searched for more but couldn't find any, nor did I know of any quick an easy place to purchase this type of mix. At the end of the day I decided I would put my baking skills to work and started making my own funnel cake mix from then on, never to run out again! This funnel cake mix surpasses them all! I could not believe all of the positive response I was getting back from my customers, who had tried funnel cakes in there travels from all over the country, my funnel cake mix was a huge hit!

After the devastating Sept. 11, 2001 attacks I needed to be closer to my family, so I decided to close my shop for the time being. Later, telling my son (one of 4) about the need to be able to purchase a great funnel cake mix and my mix having such a huge impact, we decided to make it available for people to enjoy all over. So, we formed Suzy Jo's Funnel Cake Mix with some help of family members and the rest is pretty much history.
